The Designer
Karen Curtis grew up in New York City where she has worked with a variety of mediums including sculpture, textile, metal-smithing and jewelry. After studying fashion at F.I.T. and in Florence, Italy, she worked in fashion, designing clothing, scarves and outerwear. With her creativity and the power of crystals, as well as the beauty and brilliance of gems, she began her journey into the world of jewelry.
The Company
Karen Curtis started her jewelry company in 2000. She combined her metal-smithing background with her color skills she learned while designing scarves for Halston. The result was fantastic! Beautiful bursting color stories with Crystals from SWAROVSKI®, meticulously placed into necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. The company has since evolved, adding a home decor series of timeless antique chandeliers draped with STRASS® Swarovski Crystals. Karen crystallizes each light with amazing color and sophistication.
