The Birthstone for February is Amethyst. A beautiful Purple that comes in various shades or densities as a natural stone. The Origins of this birthstone date back to the greek and roman empires as Amethyst was thought to keep you clear headed and quick witted.... It was even believed to take away the effect of too much wine (If you give this a try let us know how it works for you! haha).
Swarovski's original Amethyst is an amazing blend of violet and red that creates such a pretty color. The collection highlights all sorts of shapes and sizes from production runs as far back as the 1930's. Make sure to check out the vintage pieces with the AB coatings as this is 1 of our favorite colors to have the added reflection.
