Did you know that January's Birthstone was named for the seeds of a pomegranate? The word garnet comes from the Latin "granatus," which means seed. The next time you eat a pomegranate, you will notice the seeds' resemblance to garnet.
Being that Natural Garnet can vary in color from pink to red and even orange, we have decided to work in a tradition manner of the red hues. Some of the colors incorporated in the January Birthstone collection are Siam Red, Light Siam, and a dark brown version of Garnet. Additional larger pieces of Jewelry from this collection are available upon request.
